Course details

This Bachelor will allow you to gain an understanding of human physiology, psychology, anatomy, biomechanics and biochemistry. You will develop knowledge about how the healthy human body works during exercise, and how sport and physical activity promote health from cellular to whole body perspectives.

  • Managing High Performance Sport

Entry requirements

  • UCAS: 120 tariff points which include Physical Education, Sports Studies or a science subject
  • GCSEs: minimum of grade C in English language and mathematics or Science

Career posibilities

This programme will give you opportunities in sports governing bodies, health promotion, teaching, professional sport, medical sales and paramedical training. You will also be well prepared for postgraduate studies and research. You can expect to have these following positions after you graduate: Technical director, National development manager, Sport psychologist, Olympic sports physiologist, Physiotherapist.
