Course details
The HND Administration and Information Technology course allows students to develop essential specialist knowledge and skills (e.g. ICT, team working, project management, research and planning, critical and evaluative thinking) relevant to current administrative practice and an awareness of professional issues (e.g. legal, data management and ethical considerations) and prepares students for appropriate employment or progression to relevant degree programmes. The first year of this course incorporates the HNC.

- Two higher passes at band A-C, OR
- NC/Q (level 5 or above) in Administration, Business or Accounting along
Career possibilities
This course prepares you for a career as a Personal Assistant or Administrator in both the public and private sector. The HND can provide progression into employment in a general administrative role within small to medium enterprises. It’ll also provide opportunities to develop the skills and knowledge required for more specialist posts demanded by larger organisations.
