Course details
This programme is designed in consultation with the national governing bodies of a range of sports and local authorities, to ensure it reflects current industry standards and developments. A distinct part of our Sports Coaching degree is the opportunity to gain valuable coaching experience with a number of key partners, including the national governing body of your chosen sport, local authority or schools.

Entry requirements
- UCAS: 120 tariff points which include Physical Education, Sports Studies or a science subject
- GCSEs: minimum of grade C in English language and mathematics or Science
Career posibilities
This Sports Coaching programme is designed to prepare you for a career in sports coaching in a variety of roles that could include: participant coach, school coach, community coach or working within the sports development industry. You can also expect to have these following positions after you graduate: professional coach, social development and community programmes, PE teaching and associated roles within PE and school sport, exercise and health consultancy and support, personal training/life coach.
