Course details

This degree prepares you for careers in the film, TV, video and new media industries. In addition, your training in communication, teamwork and creativity will be highly relevant to roles in many different businesses and in the public sector. Not only will the course equip you for roles within media organisations but the changing demands of many private and public sector organisations means that there are now many media roles in a wealth of organisations which traditionally would not have been available.

Entry requirements

  • A level: minimum of two units required
  • UCAS Minimum of 120 points from A level or equivalent

The Television and Digital Media Production degree will provide a firm foundation for the following job roles: director, assistant director, associate producer, executive producer, line producer, multi-camera director, producer casting director, script writer, story producer, experience designer, web media producer, researcher, startup founder, creative entrepreneur. Graduates of the course have progressed into roles such as TV and film Producer, freelancer, Runner, Researcher, Radio Presenter, Radio Producer, Reporter, Music Scheduler, Editor, Social Media Manager and many other roles.
