Course details

This programme will help you develop knowledge and skills that will prepare you for employment in your chosen health and social care setting. You will learn about all aspects of the service user’s journey through health and social care agencies, considering the law, policy, research and practice. Getting out of the classroom and into the workplace is a key part of your learning, so there are work placements throughout the course.

  • Entrepreneurship and Project Management

  • Life course Approaches to Health and Ageing

  • Gender, Violence and Society

Entry requirements

  • UCAS: 112 tariff points
  • GCSEs: minimum of grade C with 5 subjects including English language and mathematics.

Career posibilities

Employment opportunities are excellent and Health and Social Care. You will be able to have positions as service managers, advocacy, service coordinators, educators and trainers, technician and support workers. You can also progress onto postgraduate studies in education, public health, social work, occupational therapy, nursing and research.
