Course details

The programme includes practical, classroom based aspects. For example, you will study the teaching and learning of reading and be placed in a school to work with an individual child to support their reading development.

Entry requirements

  • UCAS: 104 tariff points
  • GCSEs: minimum of grade C in English language and mathematics

Career posibilities

This programme will provide you with a solid grounding in education which will enable you to seek employment in an educational setting or other related field. You will also be prepared to progress onto a PGCE or employment based route into teaching, or to study in education at Masters Level. You can expect to have these following positions after you graduate: Youth Leader, Volunteering Co-ordinator, Charity Coordinator, Social Worker.
