Course details

The Drama degree provides you with the knowledge base and practical foundation to enable you to explore your performance interests for drama. During your degree, you will explore historical and contemporary performance modes through a combination of practice and theory. You will develop the skills to articulate and argue a position through writing, and you will use your own performance work as a way of exploring questions about the world we live in.

Entry requirements

  • Grades ABB at A-Level. This must include grade A or above in at least one arts, humanities or social sciences subject
  • International Baccalaureate Diploma with a minimum of 32 points overall
  • Access Higher Education: minimum academic requirement is to achieve 60 credits overall

Career posibilities

Graduates from Drama course go on to work in a wide variety of roles in a range of sectors including the arts, publishing, the media, charity and education. The broad range of skills gained through undergraduate courses, coupled with multiple opportunities for extracurricular activities and work experience, have enabled students to move into careers such as Events Manager, Freelance TV Producer, Puppeteer, Cultural Programming Assistant, Subject Specialist and many more.
